It is hard not to lose hope in the ongoing struggle. Performers Shahrzad and Morteza remind us that we are not allowed to give up hope in the exhausting fight for justice. They stand for resistance against the oppressive regimes from which they have suffered. As they explore how people are classified in totalitarian countries, they plead for liberation and the right to vitality. They use all their senses and desires to imagine a world of dance where their vitality and artistic expression is valued – because there is only one thing they cannot imagine: revolution and change without dance.
